Facility Design CPCD

The Correctional Institute Design event challenges competitors to conceptualize and present a modern correctional facility. Participants will showcase their designs through 3D models and tri-fold poster boards, articulating their vision to a panel of judges.
  • Guidelines and Scorecard

The Correctional Institute Design competition is designed to expose the student to the field of corrections. The competition will provide the student with opportunities to learn about the prison system and the rules and regulations that go into designing and operating a correctional facility.

Objectives

  • Present correctional institute design information and model to the judge(s)
  • Judge(s) may ask questions as needed to clarify any part of the presentation or model
  • Competitors will leave 2-pocket folder, tri-fold board, and model in room with judges until the conclusion of the event
