The Region 2 Conference will be held only on Saturday, February 11th. The hours of the competition will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with check-in from 7:00 am - 8:30 am. The awards ceremony will occur after the conclusion of competitions at approximately 5:00pm. Below is the agenda for the day.
- There will be no lunch provided to competitors at Region 2 Conference. Attached is a list of restaurants near the competition site so your school can make the appropriate arrangements.
- Please make sure that ALL your competitors bring proper ID for the competition. Students will not be able to compete unless they possess a TPSA approved ID.
- Please review the TPSA dress code for your student's particular competition. Students will be checked prior to their competition and will not be able to compete if they are not appropriately dressed. The event check-in procedures should also be reviewed and may answer questions prior to competition.
- Please use the attached map when parking and entering the competition site. There will be other individuals on-site utilizing different areas of the building. Using these directions will ensure that there is no interference to either group.
- I strongly suggest that each advisor review the dishonesty, grievances, attendance, and electronic devices sections under the competition policy section on the TPSA website. This will help to answer any questions and/or the proper procedures to follow for the competition.
Please enter campus at the Ben Barber and Debbie Ln light. Follow the road and park in the designated areas. Use the rear school entrance near garage doors, signified by the STAR.
Lunch will not be provided, but the following restaurants are located 5-10 min from the site.
